I am a fully qualified Art and Design Technology teacher. My passion for teaching comes from a desire to offer people an inclusive, fun and compassionate learning environment that encourages creative thinking. I follow Sir Ken Robinson's belief in the need for a new paradigm in education that nurtures the diversity of human talent equally.
Art classes
I have been teaching art classes for adults and children since 2001.
I tutor beginners, GCSE, A Level art & DT and portfolio building, for individuals and groups in both regular and one-off sessions. I teach both in person and online.
I teach Point Zero Painting classes to both children and adults. It is a free-flowing, intuitive technique that helps you understand and break through creative blocks and develop your intuitive and creative thinking. You can paint anything from your imagination in a judgment free environment. No previous painting skills are required.
creative retreats
I occasionally run retreats combining creative expression and yoga.
